Unrepentant Geraldines LP Out Now, Debuted At #7 On Billboard Top 200

July 16, 2014 (New York, NY) -- Today kicks off Tori Amos' North American leg of the 80-date international tour in support of her 14th studio album Unrepentant Geraldines. Released May 13th via Mercury Classics/Universal Music Classics, Unrepentant Geraldines debuted at #7 on Billboard's Top 200 Chart, marking her eighth album to debut in the Billboard Top 10 and reaffirming Amos' iconic status with critics and fans alike.

Following the release of the "Trouble's Lament" video, a delightfully suspenseful, captivating oeuvre with a kicker of a twist, Amos performed the song on LIVE With Kelly & Michael on July 14th. Fans who are unable to attend a live show can catch her performing album track "Wild Way" live on Conan, July 24th at 11pm Eastern/10pm Central on TBS. She'll also perform on CBS This Morning Saturday on August 2nd and will be featured in a profile on CBS Sunday Morning later this summer.

Her second single from Unrepentant Geraldines is "Promise," a stirring duet with her 13-year-old daughter Tash, called "gorgeously vunerable" by The Boston Globe.

"...Tori Amos returns to the world of piano-driven pop with her best album in 20 years." - NPR

"On Unrepentant Geraldines, [...] Amos puts herself back at the piano, crafting songs that will speak to the fans she earned back in the 90's as well as those who were attracted by her later work." - TIME

"Tori Amos made a pretty perfect return..." - SPIN

"Her fiercely personal lyrical candor earned her a face among influential '90s singer-songwriters ...it's her appreciable mysticism and prodigal chops that carried Amos into something like otherworldliness, and, well, the new millennium." - The FADER

"[Unrepentant Geraldines] proves that Tori's still very much the queen of the twisted alt-piano ballad. Now take this as your cue to bow down and genuflect." -- VICE's Noisey

Tori Amos has sold over 12 million albums, has played over a thousand shows and has had multiple Grammy nominations. A pioneer across multiple platforms, she was the first major label artist to offer a single for download, has had her songs turned into graphic novels, and has produced pioneering videos throughout her career.
