But when I wrote 'Cooling," I had been in Hawaii, and I was really on a sensory level with pineapples--the smell of them--they had an effect on me while I was there. I sound like I'm talking a load of gibberish, but I don't want to start talking about who it is I'm referring to in that song. That's why I thought it was best to keep it in that metaphorical world."
