Tori Amos and friends take the stage at Wells Fargo Theatre

DENVER - One of the most outspoken, creative singer/songwriters of our time, Tori Amos brings her American Doll Posse Tour to the Wells Fargo Theatre in the Colorado Convention Center on Wednesday, November 28 at 8pm. Tickets are $65 and $37.50.

The concert tour, as well as her most recent, ninth studio album -- American Doll Posse -- features Tori Amos in a way fans have never heard her: as five distinct characters who combine to make a complete woman. In addition to Amos, the quartet creates a compelling portrait of the role of women today expressed through one of Amos' most wide ranging album, both thematically and musically.

The characters are: Isabel (HisTORIcal); Clyde (CliTORIdes); Pip (ExpiraTORIal); Santa (SanaTORIum); and of course, Tori (TerraTORIes). The women have their own look, their own sound, and their own persona.

In concert, the different psyches have their time in the spotlight. Each night, Clyde, Pip, Isabel or Santa open the show before ceding the stage to Tori.

"They have their own wardrobes, of course, they are their own women," said Amos. "So I don't know who will be going on that night until sound check of that day. I think it depends upon what's happening in the world."

Onstage, Amos will do songs that represent her career, as well as sing some songs by the characters who are not physically presen that night.

Tickets are available through Ticketmaster. Call 303-830-TIXS.
