ATLANTIC RUSH-RELEASES SPECAL EDITION TORI AMOS EP

As a bonus for Tori Amos's rapidly burgeoning legion of fans, Atlantic Records is rush-releasing a special edition compact disc EP entitled "CRUCIFY." Included are two songs from Tori's debut solo album, "LITTLE EARTHQUAKES" - "Crucify" (re-mix) and "Winter," plus three cover versions. Featured is Tori's rendition of Nirvana's "Smells Like Teen Spirit," which is garnering considerable airplay at alternative radio nationwide, as well as her unique approaches to the Rolling Stones' "Angie" and Led Zeppelin's "Thank You."

The EP's release coincides with the ongoing success of "LITTLE EARTHQUAKES," which is exploding at retail and rapidly bulleting up the national album charts. The album's first single, "Silent All These Years," is a top five track at Alternative radio and garnering considerable CHR airplay, while its companion video is in Stress-Buzz rotation on MTV.

Ms. Amos is currently in the midst of her debut North American solo tour, which commenced on April 20th with two SRO performances at New York City's Bottom Line, and is slated to run through mid-May.
